About the Symposium
Where Pennsylvania's Care Community Comes Together
Hosted by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Family Health, the annual statewide Symposium on Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) brings together families, caregivers, and key stakeholders. Through collaboration and leadership, the Bureau works to create systemic change at local, regional, and statewide levels—improving health outcomes and quality of life for pregnant people, partners, children, and families across Pennsylvania.
What is the Symposium? The Symposium on CYSHCN is a free, day-long, in-person event dedicated to strengthening systems of care, advancing education, and driving better health outcomes for individuals with special health care needs and their families.
